Oils on canvas, 11x14 inches, $450.00

The White Park is the most ancient breed of British cattle. The animals are white with colored points and long graceful horns. The name White Park embraces several herds of color-pointed cattle which form the basis of today's rare White Park breed. One of these herds is that of Chartley Castle in Staffordshire, U.K. Animals from this herd are depicted before the ruins of the castle; their black ears, eyes, noses, feet and tips of the horns are prominently evident.
