Lynch Linebacks
Inquire about this work

Oils on board, 11 x 13 inches, sold.

Lynch Lineback cattle at Lachute, Quebec exhibiting a characteristic white stripe along the back ridge and white lower markings on a black-dark brown body.

Lynch Linebacks are in the CRITICAL category (highest risk).

Historically, Lineback cattle occurred in low numbers in Central and Eastern Canada. Survival of the type is largely due to the efforts of Robert Lynch of Mallorytown, Ontario starting before WWII. A breed herdbook needs to be established and is a prime goal for Rare Breeds Canada in 2011.
