Markhors, a species of large goat with spiral horns, live in the Himalayan mountain region at elevations between 600 - 3,600 meters. They are adapted to life in extreme mountainous terrain and listed as ENDANGERED in the wild. The animals are shown traversing a rockpile at the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg.
